This week’s delicious happenings at the pick-up window at 10130 105 Street—house-made bagels with either corned beef or chicken salad today, 11am-1:30pm and Vietnamese meatballs on Friday: meatballs (pork, garlic, ginger and chiles) served with a rice noodle salad (Asian vegetables, fish sauce dressing and sesame seeds), 11am-1:30pm. They will have the singular Rwandan handicrafts at Saturday markets too. Summer hours are Tuesdays, 7pm-8:30pm and Saturdays,11am-1pm. falcon fest 2021 at bin 104
Bin 104 (5454 Calgary Trail, 436-8850, https://bin104.com) is having their first in-store tasting event in almost a year and a half in support of Peregrine falcons. The Bin adopted the falcon family nesting at the Clark Building across the road several years ago—several nest boxes throughout the city are maintained by the Alberta Conservation Association.
