Find your inner baba with Kitchen to Go Wednesday night dinners. Tonight it’s Ukrainian meatballs with wild mushroom sauce, varenyky and nalysnyky (order by noon). See all the menus for the month here. Friday soup and a bagel continues the Ukrainian deliciousness theme (dill pickle, mushroom and barley, borscht) and don’t forget to get extra bagels as Saturday is National Bagel Day! Woo hoo!

Chartier, our fave resto in Beaumont, is back after the holiday break. Every Wednesday is fish and chips day for takeout and dine in. There is a GF version available too. If that’s not crazy enough, they also offer tourtière on the pantry menu. The classic Quebecois meat pie, made with Four Whistle Farm duck, Thundering Ground bison and Irvings Farm pork is top notch. We can think of nothing better for a winter picnic, now that it’s warm enough to be outside. Order here.
