The Amici dell’Enotria (Italian Wine Society) holds a dinner at Happy & Olive (9640 142 Street), 6pm, Monday, November 27. The evening starts with hors d’oeuvres and a cocktail made with the delicious Nepeta Amaro Majora, followed by fine wines from the Amici cellars, including a four-vintage vertical of Capezzana Carmignano and two vintages of Feudo Montoni Vrucara (made from century-old, pre-phylloxera Nero d’Avola vines). The special treat? Capezzana’s 2003 Vin Santo Riserva. What a lineup! Tix: $175/p+ (members) and up.
