Chinatown Dining Week showcases the wide variety of cuisine offered in Edmonton’s Chinatown—dumplings, pho, green onion cakes, noodles, rice dishes, bánh mì, vegan dishes, hot pots, Korean fare, pizza and Italian sandwiches. Some of the spots are new and others, like Kim Fat, have been offering delicious food for over three decades. The Milhade family has made wine on the right bank of Bordeaux for four generations. Xavier Milhade oversees the family’s Château Recougne and Château Boutisse with his son, Marc, a leader of the younger generation in Saint-Émilion. Marc’s sister Elodie and her husband Julien operate Château Tour Bayard, in Montagne-saint- Émilion. Special guest at the RGE RD dinner is Thibaut Quemener, the international face of Milhade—a fine wine connoisseur, particularly of Bordeaux, who brings valuable expertise to Milhade Wines. The Green & Gold Community Garden does a fundraiser with the bountiful and high-quality WWest Coast Seeds every year, with over 700 flower, vegetable and herb seeds on offer.
