Vagabond Pop-ups is having a picnic. Well, they are making the picnic. All you have to do is order by 7pm tonight, then pick up at the Summer Canopy Site #1 in Laurier Park on Buena Vista Road, between 4:30-5:30pm on Sunday, July 26. They provide the French-inspired basket for two, tablecloth, music, candles and the campfire. Settle in at a table under the canopy or wander off to find a spot in the park. (You can even bring along baseball gear as baseball diamond #2A is available.) The menu? French delights— Comté and Camembert, cured meats, roast chicken terrine, French potato salad and a tarte aux abricots for dessert, plus add-ons such as a Delavoye Smores Kit. Riverbend Gardens u-pick (3830 195 Avenue NE) is open from dawn until dusk. Park on the grass at the fork in the road at the bottom of the hill in front of the orchard.
