jola’s is now open!
After several successful pop-ups, chef Fillie Lament is going full time with Jola’s, his ode to contemporary Polish-inspired food. Find Jola’s inside Candid Coffee (6419 112 Avenue) Wednesday-Saturday from 5pm-10pm. Recommended: the clear fermented borscht—which makes you feel like a rock star—the Greek-style haddock casserole and, of course, the outstanding (and hefty) pierogi and cabbage rolls. Expect the menu to change depending on the season and what’s in the markets. Check it out!
