haywire farm
Trevor Riehl and Ryan Carroll took over Trevor’s grandparents farm near Leduc a few years ago. Both in health care, they realized they had an opportunity to help create the food system they desired—local, organic, holistic—on the family farm. They started with Katahdin lamb, eight ewes and one ram of unrelated genetics, and have 30 lambs for sale this year. Check it out! http://haywirefarms.ca/

recipe of the week: things to do with green tomatoes
Fry them for sure, or, try this delish salsa verde. Tangy, with some fire and a good bit of acidity, have it with eggs, in a sandwich, or on your burger.
