Don’t miss the wonderful Christmas Market at the Alberta Council for the Ukrainian Arts (9534 87 Street, 780-488-8558, acuarts.ca), 10am-4pm, Saturday, December 4. In addition to the gallery and boutique offerings, there will be arts, crafts and food vendors. But, if you want some delish Ukrainian food for the freezer, you have to pre-order. Order honey, hams, sausages, ground poppyseed and wheat, or kolach, cabbage rolls, nalysnky, perichy or pyrohy, and all sorts of spreads, sauces and preserves by From Scratch, A Mountain Kitchen, by November 27, here.
