strawberries at prairie gardens, job board at jasper hospitality fund, alberta on the plate, plus tomato top100: sabor’s fish and chips

love strawberries?

Get yourself out to Prairie Gardens. It’s been a tough year for our favourite summer fruit—late June frost, then too much heat. But now, the smaller crop does looks delicious. Picking days are Wednesdays and Saturdays, 10am-11:30am, until August 17. Check the strawberry page for all the deets. Call first if you are only coming for strawberries, but remember there are u-pick new potatoes too—the Colomba variety is in season. And this weekend is the 33rd Annual Fairy Berry Festival, August 3-5, 10am-5pm.
