check out la mesa
Popped into La Mesa (4620 99 Street, 587-524-8780, https://lamesarestaurant.ca) for lunch. It’s a new venture by Bodega veterans and its Filipino flavour-focused menu is worth your time. Highlights—the delicious mango and tomato salad, the grilled chicken and the flan with its subtle lime note. So good, and right now they have a special two-course lunch deal available. Can’t wait to go back for dinner to dive into the well-chosen (and well-priced) wine list. Check it out!
