The Prairie Skies & Perogies Festival is a celebration of family, food, heritage and the prairie spirit that has defined Prairie Gardens for 70 years. All-day access to the festival includes family-friendly farm activities, a homesteading demonstration, traditional Ukrainian dance and folk music, garlic heritage experience, and a delicious Ukrainian lunch picnic lunch (pyrohy with sour cream and bacon, cabbage rolls, garlic sausage, nalysnyky and Ukrainian salad). You can also book two traditional Ukrainian activities: learn to make pyrohy and a wheat weaving workshop with Irene Topolnitsky. September 5-7 from 10am-5pm.
