the darling wine club starts this weekend

Darling has started a new event called Wine Club: an easy-going guided wine tasting focusing on the grapes they love and the places they come from. The goal? To drink good wine and talk about them with fun people. The first session, Intro to Natural Wines, led by Adam Bennet (WSET3), begins at 3pm, Sunday, July 27. Taste four natural wines paired with light snacks to accompany the guided tasting. Tix: $40/p+ here.

legends of the rockies dinner at bow lake

The Lodge at Bow Lake is a stunning spot to visit along the Icefields Parkway. The historic location has been sensitively and beautifully rejuvenated since its time as Numitjah. Pop into Provisions for lunch if you are hiking Mistaya Canyon or driving from Jasper to Lake Louise. Better yet, attend the Legends of the Rockies Dinner, August 13, with featured guest former park ranger Scott Ward. Usually, you must be a guest at the Lodge to have dinner there, but you can reserve as a non-guest.
