Valentine’s Day is a big deal for restaurants (and for couples) and this year is no exception. Many are offering dine-in or curbside pick-up. Here are some delicious options.
Bar Bricco’s (10347 Jasper Avenue) butternut squash and leek risotto kit for two includes all the ingredients, a bottle of wine, cooking instructions, a demonstration video and a playlist, $80 for two. Order by February 7 here: bricco-to-go.corso32group.com.
The Marc (9940 106 Street) offers a curbside pick-up kit with a very nice bottle of wine. There is with some assembly required—you can do a Zoom session with the chef to learn how. The Cavern (10169 104 Street) is offering raclette or fondue bundles for two, which include all the ingredients, wine, instructions and either a raclette pan or the fondue pot and a bottle of wine. What a lovely idea for a night in. And it’s available for either Saturday or Sunday, $100-150/kit. Order here.

Vivo’s (18352 Lessard Road) Valentine’s Day menu is an opulent greatest hits menu, $149/ two people. Available for in-house dining too, from Friday, Feb 13 to Monday Feb 15. Visit here to see the menu.

Kitchen by Brad (10130 105 Street) is offering a romantic dinner to-go on both Saturday and Sunday. February is Heart Month and they are donating $10 for each meal to the VAD program at the MAZ. Three courses with a heart-healthy cioppino main and a dark choc dessert, $60/person. Less heart healthy perhaps, but just as much fun, is the bacon bundle, $50, with $5 going to the Maz. Order here.
