Every Wednesday, Kitchen by Brad offers a delish take-out dinner, based on what looks good in the garden or at the farmers market. Today it’s roasted chicken thighs with pan juices, nylesnyky with farmers cheese and toothsome beet rolls with fresh dill cream sauce. Creator Alysia Lok started with developing a deeply flavoured, savoury caramel. Then it became an irresistible cornflake-based snack called Caramunchies. Start with saskatoon lemonade and local charcuterie on the covered veranda. Move indoors to the restored barn for several courses with wines curated by Color de Vino. Chef Smoliak works with several local farmers and ranchers to showcase the best in Prairie ingredients.
