the lady on the moon cocktail tops at st-rémy cocktail week
Izzi Ng of Fu’s Repair Shop is the Edmonton winner at the recent St-Rémy Signature Cocktail Week. Her inspired take on the espresso martini (with further reference to the Cantonese dessert, black sesame soup) means Izzi joins the other four Canadian winners for a week at St-Rémy in France with master blender, Cécile Roudaut. The Lady on the Moon cocktail, made with St-Rémy Signature Brandy, black sesame, orgeat, espresso liqueur, lime juice, a pinch of salt and topped with coconut cream foam and sesame seeds was a delightfully complex and savoury drink. Congrats Izzi!
