The downtown Filistix is closing at the end of the year, so it may be the last time they create the wonderful Festive Noche Buena Feast to go: choice of pork belly, beef, or chicken, accompanied by some spectacular Filistix sides—pancit (fried noodles) charred Asian greens, mashed potatoes, salad and pandesal bread pudding. Instructions for heating up, etc, are included. Order by Saturday, December 21 and pick-up from 1pm-4pm, Tuesday, December 24 at Filistix Downtown (10621 100 Avenue) here. 2023 substantially complete release is today
Blind Enthusiasm is releasing the 2023 Substantially Complete today. The tasting note: “This iteration of Substantially Complete uses neutral and freshly emptied red wine barrels that fermented from one up to four years with our house-blend of microorganisms. The Christmas pop-up happens Sunday, December 22, from noon-2pm for all the necessary holiday meal prep things—chicken stock, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce and mincemeat for tarts.
