check out the fall menu at cibo
Cibo Bistro’s (11244 104 Avenue, 780-757-2426, cibobistro.com) fall menu is a delicious one —several seasonal dishes finding their way among the classics for which Cibo is treasured. (Arancini anyone?) We were especially taken by the preserved green tomato crostini; the toothsome cacio e pepe gnocchi, plump little pillows accented with black pepper and two pecorino cheeses; the Four Whistle Farms lamb shank with polenta and a preserved lemon gremolata. For dessert? Espresso panna cotta with lashings of house-made pistachio torrone (nougat). Or, choose the chefs tasting menu, five courses with or without wine. Yum.
