wine of the week Umani Ronchi Pecorino Vellodoro (Golden Fleece) LeMarche, Italy, $23This attractive Italian is bright yellow, dry and medium-bodied with refreshing acidity. The well-balanced flavours of stone fruit, fresh herbs, roses and a hint of tropical fruit will keep this wine in your fridge door all summer long. Drink while making dinner; think chicken, cheese, grilled fish. The grape was essentially rediscovered in the 1980s growing on a hillside where sheep liked to graze. Smart sheep.
