don’t miss the sugar shack at café bicyclette
Experience a taste of old-school Quebec at Café Bicyclette. The cabanes à sucre (sugar shacks) are rustic cabins in the hardwood forests of rural Quebec where the sap, collected in buckets, was boiled down into maple syrup. Over time these became elaborate (or not so elaborate) places to gather with friends and have a party. The tradition of the cabane à sucre lives on at Café Bicyclette where you can enjoy a five-course, maple-infused culinary extravaganza on April 8, 14 and 15. Tix: $85/p all in.
