great kitchen party is back!
The Great Canadian Kitchen Party (formerly Gold Medal Plates) is back at the Edmonton Convention Centre, Thursday, October 27. Who is competing? Serge Belair, Edmonton Convention Centre; Levi Biddlecomb, Backstairs Burger; Myles Fedun, Meuwly’s; Holly Holt, She Cooks; Lindsay Porter, The Common; Doreen Prei, Glasshouse Kitchen | Bar; Medi Tabtoud, Vivo; Elisa Zenari, Dalla Tavola Zenari—three newbies, three previous podium finishers and four women chefs. The event raises money for youth ($17 million in the past 16 years) and new beneficiaries are SpiritNorth, an organization that improves the health and well-being of Indigenous youth and E4C. delicious new fall menu at workshop eatery
The south side’s Workshop Eatery (2003 91 Street, 780 705-2205, robertspencerhosp.com) has a new fall menu with dishes like Irving’s pulled pork sammie, toothsome squash gnocchi and a delicious beet dish with fromage blanc and fennel. Yum!
