don’t miss growcase for kids
Central Social Hall’s Jesse Kupina is a fan of the Abbottsfield Youth Project (AYP). “AYP is a registered charity that has been supporting at-risk children in north east Edmonton for over 30 years. Their mission promotes the development of effective living skills, the pursuit of healthy lifestyle choices and the connection of families to the community via life skills programs for children (6-12). My business partner Jerry Rota and I grew up in northeast Edmonton and I attended one of the schools AYP supports.”
Central Social Hall’s 7th annual fundraiser for AYP, Growcase, starts at 7pm on Saturday, October 8. Enjoy The Grand Dueling Piano Show, live magic with Ian Pidgeon, tapas, cash bar and silent auction, with hosts Graham Neil and Donovan Workun (so, really, anything could happen). Proceeds support the children of AYP. Tix: $50.
“I believe every child should receive the same opportunities to make it in this world, regardless of background. And I believe in the Abbottsfield Youth Project,” says Jesse. For more information about AYP, visit www.ayp.ca.
