Did you know that, for just $250, the Grocery Run can support a family with nutritious, healthy, culturally appropriate food for a whole year? They maximize every dollar to support families in need using volunteers, food from partnerships with the Edmonton Food Bank and Leftovers Edmonton Foundation and buying food from local producers and businesses at a discount. The Multicultural Health Brokers Co-Op created the Grocery Run to help new Canadians. Without them, many new Canadians and refugee families would not be able to put food on their tables for their families. And, this year, it needs our help.
