May, in the Art Gallery of Alberta has just opened. Expect really tasty food from chef Doreen Prei and team. The idea is seasonal, mostly local food and from our sneak peek, it’s wonderful—the grilled salad chock full of local veg, the toothsome quail and the sublime wild mushroom dish, could eat that every day. All dishes are meant to be shared which we love. The room has a simple and sleek look, an improvement on the former Zinc, where chef Prei also headed up the kitchen, so a homecoming of sorts. Jimmy Shewchuk of Prairie Catering and chef have put together an excellent team, more on that in our January issue. Dinner Tuesday-Saturday. And they are open for holiday brunch, December 4 and 18 during the Holiday Light up. Check it out!
