Have you been to The Lot yet?

The Lot on 107 that is, a cluster of food trucks, including the delicious Dick’s Tatership. The concept, by the irrepressible Lorne Merrick, features stuffed baked potatoes. His idea? To step up the street food and kitchen carnival; the Tatership is a sea can container converted to a first rate and well-organized kitchen. The menu? Cheeky. Try the Rachel Notley, with mushroom, truffle oil and sharp cheddar, or the Jagmeet Singh, with red onion, crispy jalapeño, garam masala. Partial to the Basic Betty and Bob? Can’t go wrong with butter, sea salt and pepper, chopped green onions (bacon bits and sour cream optional). Or, Tater Tots (kind of like poutine, sort of). Not in the mood for potato? Check out the not-so-basic sandwiches, grilled and otherwise. The entire experience is a trip, and tasty! October hours are Thursday-Saturday,11am-3pm for lunch and 5pm-8pm for dinner, Sunday 12-6pm with heated seating.
