Ramen Lovers unite at Metro Cinema to see Come Back Anytime

Self-taught ramen master Masamoto Ueda and his wife Kazuko have run their Tokyo ramen shop, Bizentei for more than 40 years, building a community with their devoted customers. The friends venture out on weekends, across the Japanese countryside, to harvest pears, bamboo shoots and wild mountain yams. The doc Come Back Anytime is a story about the ramen, the Bizentei community and what happens next. See it at 1pm, Sunday, August 7 at Metro Cinema (8712 109 Street). The screening features an intro by Kasey Ramen’s Allen Gao, creator of Edmonton ramen pop-ups and take-home kits. For an extra delicious experience, come early to score tix for the next Kasey Ramen pop-up on August 14/15.
