The Dory Green

Rosie Schapp, New York Times.

  • 2.5 oz. Canadian Club or Crown Royal whiskey
  • .5 oz. dry vermouth
  • scant t Canadian Grade B maple syrup
  • 2 dashes Brooklyn Hemispherical Rhubarb Bitters*
  • seltzer (soda water)

To a mixing glass, add ice and all ingredients except seltzer. Shake like mad and pour into rocks glass or small tumbler, leaving room for a good spritz of seltzer to top it up.
